| I am trying to put a long website url into a text box but impress keeps breaking it up. I tried paste special but that didn't do the job. Any ideas? |

What do you want to happen if the url is too wide to fit in the text box? _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista

| I want to force the urlo to stay together and wrap to the next line.The url has a dash and a ? in it so Impress breaks it at those places. Sorry I wasn't specific last night. |

What do you mean with break - wrap? If not, what do you mean with it? _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista

I guess a picture is worth a thousand words!
This is how the url appears in Impress:
http://wo-pub2.med.cornell.edu/cgi-
bin/WebObjects/PublicA.woa/3/wa/viewService?
servicesID=797&parent=Deaf+and+Hard+of+Hearing&website=nyp+psych&wosid=jtnx30czeywuVinjkiQPUM
I want it to run across the text box and then continue on the next line. I can't make it work here either but this is the idea:
blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_
Thanks for trying to help! |

There seems to be a Unicode character that can enter before a character to make it non-breaking, but I forgot which character that is. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista

If it's just for effect you can simply enter spaces where you want the text to wrap. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista
