Showing notes on computer while projecting

I am attempting to prepare a Slide show and want the notes to appear on the computer screen but just the slide on the projected image. They display identical images.

You need dual monitor capability for that. This article discusses how to do that with Powerpoint, and it may help you to get it to work for Impress.

http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/presenter-screen does just what you want
