| I created a database with tables and forms and entered a lot of data. Now I have to go in and modify the forms to insert a business logo. How do I do that? |

Hello
Open your form in edit mode and then insert the image
menu --> insert --> Picture --> from file

First of all, I think I figured out how to open a form in edit mode --
Highlight the form. Then go to menu --> edit --> edit. Is this correct?
Then I did: menu --> insert --> Picture --> from file
It inserted a box with the name of the file, but not the image.
What am I doing wrong? |

Hello
Maybe you have to set the image to view
first
menu --> tools --> option
In the popup
OpenOffice writer --> View --> Display --> Graphics and Objects

Thank you for your help. I didn't have the option to do
>menu --> tools --> option
>In the popup
>OpenOffice writer --> View --> Display --> Graphics and Objects
So I closed the Database and opened the Text Document. It also would not show the image. So I closed the Text Document and opened Drawing and finally it worked like it should have in the first place:
menu --> insert --> picture --> from file
I copied the picture and closed Drawing. Then I opened the Database, selected the form in edit mode and pasted the picture into the form. Seems like it shouldn't be so much work to do this. There has to be an easier way.
Anyway, thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction. |
