Hi,
I am running LO 3.4.4 in Ubuntu 11.10.
I have just bought a new printer (Epson WP4530). Everything works well except I am having trouble with 2 sided printing in LO only.
I can print 2 sided from other programs like Evince (PDF), Thunderbird (e-mail), or Gedit (text editor), so I am fairly sure the printer is configured properly for my system. However, if I attempt to print from LO the 2 sided option appears in the print dialogue but the printer only produces 1 sided copies.
Does anyone have any ideas?

| Thanks Thomas, but I tried that and it didn't help. You must be lucky with your system because lots of us have trouble with duplexing. A search of the forums reveals that duplexing is disabled/not working for several different brands and models of printers and this problem has been around for a while, including OpenOffice. I know it is not a printer driver issue because other programs: text editors, pdf readers, email, etc., all work with duplexing. The only program I have found to date that can't duplex is LO/OOo. |
