Hi,
I am running LO 3.4.4 in Ubuntu 11.10.

I have just bought a new printer (Epson WP4530). Everything works well except I am having trouble with 2 sided printing in LO only.

I can print 2 sided from other programs like Evince (PDF), Thunderbird (e-mail), or Gedit (text editor), so I am fairly sure the printer is configured properly for my system. However, if I attempt to print from LO the 2 sided option appears in the print dialogue but the printer only produces 1 sided copies.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thx

LO 3.4.5 does two sided with my Pixma IP4500 on Win7. Something in your setup is not quite right. try resetting the user profile http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=12426

Thanks Thomas, but I tried that and it didn't help. You must be lucky with your system because lots of us have trouble with duplexing. A search of the forums reveals that duplexing is disabled/not working for several different brands and models of printers and this problem has been around for a while, including OpenOffice. I know it is not a printer driver issue because other programs: text editors, pdf readers, email, etc., all work with duplexing. The only program I have found to date that can't duplex is LO/OOo.
