It's not an inbuilt shape but you will get a long way with the Rectangle and Line tools. It may be better to use Draw. I expected that you'd want a wheel chart, which is a bit harder to do.

| I opened Open Office Draw but where are those rectangles which you are referring to I am unable to locate them. |

Look at the toolbar at the bottom of the Draw window. There's a picture of a smiley and directly to the left of it is a box, a collection of standard shapes like rectangles. You will also need two straight lines. Hover your mouse over the rest of that toolbar to find all available goodies. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista

Of course; you can also draw it directly in Writer with the same toolbar, but Draw has better tools for editing shapes. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista
