I used to do a lot in PowerPoint but no longer use Uncle Bill's software. Now using OpenOffice 3.3.0
In Power Point one had the selection to load a pic - with transition and THEN have text via transition appear OVER the pic. The transition could be different.
eg
Insert a pic sliding in from left to right and have text appear over pic sliding in from to to bottom.
I can't see how this can be done in Impress????
