OK. I got no reply to my previous post.
I printed Open Office WORKING WITH CHARTS EDITION 2004. The descriptions of the various steps to create a chart do not correspond to the appearance of the tiitles, icons etc that I have in this latest edition of OO. Is there a more recent edition then 2 0 0 4 ?
I had to create a column chart to utilize in a presentation coming in a few days.
I will abandon OO. Thank you anyhow. I am too inexperienced to use such a complex program. Mab |

Hi,
Pity that you give up so quickly.
I haven't seen your previous post, but the answer is quite simple.
If you want to reduce the spacing between the columns double click on a columns this opens the Data Series menu. Select the Options tab and change the spacing from 100% down to say 25%.
You have to play a bit with the value to see what best fit your need.
