|
|
I have a Workbook created in Calc, where one sheet gets updated automatically. A second sheet is used to merge RAW data from the first. I have used named ranges to format the data in the second sheet, which is then used as a database source for document templates created in Write. The problem is that when I import data from columns where named ranges have been used in their formulas, they appear as empty in the Writer dialog.
Is there any specific reason that this named range-formula driven cells don't get updated when viewed externally or is it some sort of bug?
For the time being I got rid of all the uses of named ranges and everything works fine (would rather not of course)
Does this however sound like something that needs to be fixed in a forthcoming version, or is it due to some internal structure that cannot be overcome? |

Version 3.2 has a bug.Text and numbers mixed in the same column give a blank field in database context. _________________ Rest in peace, oooforum.org
