|
|
I have a report, created by the wizard in Base:
It is a detail list type of report which has Quantity and Price columns. At the end of the report I need to have Totals for those two columns: Total Quantiy and Total of Price.
I don't know too much about reports in Base. Do I use controls like in Forms?
Any help much appreciated! _________________ Billyray

I would suggest you download the OpenOffice Extension . . . currently named: Oracle Report Builder.
It can be downloaded from ( Get It! button ):
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/project/reportdesign
Below is a link, showing an EXAMPLE database ( HSQL-WORLDAREA2.odb ) that you can download and review, with some reports with a few Report Functions . . . that performs exactly what you said you want. It can be downloaded from:
http://www.filedropper.com/hsql-worldarea2
Check out reports:- WoldAreaReport - By Area
- WoldAreaReport - By Continent - Area
- WoldAreaReport - By Continent - Country Name
I hope this helps, please be sure to let me / us know. Just as an FYI, since you are using MySQL as your database engine, it makes no difference.
