|
|
| I haven't done any database work in about 12 years, so I'm a bit rusty... However, created tables, and forms with list boxes etc, and they were going fine - list boxes worked fine etc) but now some of the siles keep opening in "read only" mode; also some of the tables. I can't even delete them and try again! Any ideas please? Many thanks! |

Welcome to the forum.
Which OOo version?
Which operating system?
Which database you use (see statusbar of ODB)
Your ODB file is opened read-only?
Forms are read-only, if not opened in edit mode - but input in control fields should be possible. _________________ Cheers

Romke - thankyou so much, lack of primary index key was indeed the issue! I don't know how that happenend, 'cos OO doesn't normally let you creat a table without one- but it was a bit late last night! PS I just assumed that what I downloaded the other day was the latest version? It alkl looks vaguely familiar - I only ever used DBase and Foxpro
Thanks everyone!! |
