Have you looked at the OOo site ? Support>Documentation (templates)>...
-> 2.x Templates - User/Template.

Thanks to add '[Solved]' in your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

Learn OOo.

See the OOo site for additional links or search the web or this forum, there may be other links also.

You can also make one by yourself, it's not a complicated document.

To follow up on Hagar's comment have a look at http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors2/index.html particularly the style chapters. You may find it easier to create your own résumé layout.

I think that when you mention boxes you are talking about a table. If you need to add to a table just click in the table and go to the TABLE item in the menu.

The thing that you should be careful about it is taking templates for granted and not focus on personal modifications or customization of your cv/resume. You may want to pay extra attention to resume or cv writing tips and guidelines instead of relying on a template. However, there is nothing wrong with having a template and customize it... check out CV Tips or some other careers-related websites for useful templates.

Hi – that’s a really nice example of resume and I’m sure it will be really useful for some students. This is nice to consider when applying for a job. I'm pretty sure this will help someone to get moving in the right job.

Thanks for posting.
