How can I set up calc to make 367 enter as \$3.67 and not \$367.00 without manually entering a decimal point between 3 and 6? Sorry-it's a pretty basic question but I am stumped! Thanks-tb

There are only numbers. 2.436,99€ is the exact same value as \$2,436.99 The number format is cosmetic just like the color, font or the border of a cell._________________Rest in peace, oooforum.org Get help on http://forum.openoffice.org

What I'd like to do in calc is available in Excel, and that is to enter, for example, 367 and have it appear as 3.67 and not 367., without manually entering the decimal between the three and the six. When working with all currency numbers in a spreadsheet, it's so much faster to have the decimal point set itself two to the left so it's defining the dollars and cents automatically. Is there a way to do that in the settings?
