Is there a way to record keystrokes in Calc
without absolute cell references being programmed in?
I want to create a small routine
that will run starting from any cell location.

When I use "record macro" in CALC,
contrary to what I want to happen,
the absolute cell location that I start from
is recorded into macro
so that when I try to run the macro
starting from a different cell location,
the macro jumps to the cell location
where I began recording macro.

In my older versions of Excel in record macro
the beginning cell location would NOT be recorded;
only the cursor movements.
This is what I want to do.

Thanks very much for any help
Erin

Make your movements with the arrows keys instead of your mouse. This will record entirely differently.
