Hi there!
I currently own a brand new Macbook Air. this is my very first Apple computer and i am in the very early stages of learning the OS, etc.
I also happen to install the Open Office Mac version and i also happen to have the HP Photosmart 5110 all-in-one printer
I have several files on my portable hard drive. when i opened one of the files to print it to my wifi printer and after clicking the Print button on top nothing is happening. am i doing something wrong? is there any settings i need to change, etc.?
FYI, my printer is connected to my Macbook via wifi.
Please help!!!
Thanks. |

I guess the first thing is to check if you can print from other applications. _________________ jrkrideau

I was able to test print from the printer. i was also able to print my Ebay and Amazon order details wireleslly with no problems.
What i don't understand is why i cant print from Open Office to my printer? it is a wireless printer. the printer symbol is there but nothing is happening.
I was told by Apple that perhaps i need to set-up my printer & laptop via a USb connection but i want to know from you guys what can i do?
please advice. |

Have you tried with Cmd+P? Is your printer set as default? _________________ Thank you!!
