I tried searching the forums and found all kinds of responses. Some rude, some attempted to be helpful, and some never answered. So, posting here.
Using Linux w/Oo
Example......
Spreadsheet #1 = Data.ods
Tab on #1 = Initial
Cell being needed = B1
Spreadsheet #2 = Summary.ods
Tab on #2 = Summary-1
Cell needing to be used = A1
What I want to do is enter data in Data.ods and be able to see a summary of any info
in Summary.ods.
?? In #2, A1.... +Data.ods...Initial.B1 Something like that?
If #1, B1 contained 10, then Summary would pick it up.
If #1, B1 contained +sum(B2:B10), then Summary should still pick it up.
I used this as an example because if I see it done once, I can expand and modify to
allow me to do it with all my sheets. I can do this in Excel, but no longer use window
