i'm using libreoffice version 3.4.4, my database is hsqldb not enbedded and i've a connection through jdbc with an informix database also: i want to try to upgrade libreoffice to the latest versione i see is 3.5.3: what's the best way to do it being sure not to lose data and configurations?

HSQLDB and Informix are two different relational databases. Could you be more specific? Are you using both databases?

i work with both databases hsqldb and informix, with base as front end
hsqldb: i followed a procedure found in this forum, now i have a user folder in c: with the data
informix: i've installed a driver and make it work somehow: now i can access data through base but not everything is working fine
