What exactly are the improvements in OpenOffice 3.4 over 3.3?
I have just downloaded it and I cannot see any improvements whatsoever!
It's WORSE than 3.3 in fact! as no Standard English version is available! Only the localised US English version!
I have downloaded the Spanish language pack and I shall be using Open office in Spanish until the developers create a version in English.

Just a few pointers: OOo 3.4 is the first release by Apache. Because Apache works with another license than the developers of OOo used, much of the code had to be replaced by code with the new license. Also many old bugs were fixed. The language support is not as bad as you seem to think: you can download a British English dictionary extension and install that, but as the license of that extension is not acceptable for Apache, they don't include that extension in the install file for OOo. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista
