|

Hello all:
I am doing an advertising single page flyer (landscape format).
At the bottom of the page, I would like to have my phone number ,listed vertically,
with room between the text so that I can cut them up in strips and the person interested in the ad can rip if off an take it with them.
(I'm sure you've seen these ads in supermarkets, l ibraries, etc).
How do I do that with writer?
Thanks for your help.

Format > Page Landscape
Type some text that would be horizontal
Insert > Section ... press Insert (accept the defaults
You;ll see two thin lines on screen and your cursor should be below them.
Insert Table (one row, maybe 20 columns)
Put your cursor in one of the table cells
Format > Character >Position ...90 degrees (or 270). press Ok.
Type one number. Fiddle with font size, bold etc.
then copy/;paste to the others.
I think that is it, or close.
Don't forget to save as odt and export pdf. |

This is the only good answer I found in this forum after looking for something simple like that for 25 mins. Thanks and kudos to you, saved my day.
