How to import a table from Calc into Writer?

I have a table in Open Office Calc.

I want to import the information into Writer in the form of a table.

I cannot seem to copy/paste because the information will not go into the table I have created in Writer.

Is there a way to either import the file from Calc or insert the information into a table in Writer?

It's probably best to copy the data from Calc, then in Writer Paste special, as unformatted text, select that, then Table - Convert to table.
