I just registered and was shocked and appalled to see the the confirming email contained both my userid and *password* in clear text, in the same unsecured email. This is a violation of fundamental security principles.

This is something that should be addressed post haste.

I browsed OOO Forum Topics and found the listing below. I do not believe that posting appropriate or related ( i hope ) to OO functionality.

I, too, retrieved my user name / password from OO Admin. The return email may have been encrypted before arrival in my inbox. Though my personal info. within OO does not contain details more intimate than my mailing address and SS #, a hacker would find pickings in my OO modules pretty thin. Perhaps OO could be the door to several other portions of my computer which I certainly do not care to expose to hackers.
