Hi, I am having a similar issue, working on a small database file I cannot open the document using 3.3.0. I can see the database document but when I try to open it nothing happens. Fortunately I have an older version but will mean losing a couple of days work if I cannot recover the data.
Don't get any error messages that I can see. Curious. Thanks for any advice.

| can you help SlideRule ? every time I try to open my .ODB file it opens in writer instead of database and I would hate to lose all my hard work. I am using windows vista and all that will come up when I open my odb is stuff I can't read ! it saved as .db.odb. Any help would be very much appreciated. |

I had a powercut while working on a .odb database with family addresses. The file was on a external hard drive an I can not open it.

| Hello Sliderule, I think I have the same problem here. I cannot open the database and the file wasn't close properly last time which a .lck file remain on the folder. Can you help? many thanks. |

I am having the same problem. I renamed the file to a zip file and can extract the contents but do not know what to do next.

I am having the same issue. The file has many tables, macros and forms. It took me days to prepare the database and I do not have another back up. Please help me in recovering this file.
