|
| Hi. I am used to MS Excel on a pc and, in the past before using Open Office, after selecting certain cells to print, I would click File, then Print selection. Easy. Now I'm using a macbook pro and I never get a drop down menu or a window that offers to me the option of only printing my selection. I've tried Help, Google, etc. and have learned how to define and name a range and save it but still I'm never offered a way to only print just that even after clicking the named, newly defined range. All I get is the option of either "print" or "cancel". And "print" always means the entire spreadsheet. It's annoying to selct, copy then paste to a new and temp file as a way to get around this. Can someone help me please? |

What version are you using?
State Development line (OpenOffice, LibreOffice, NeoOffice), version number, and language version.
I have previously seen that the Danish language variant had some strangely resized dialog boxes that clipped half of the controls out of view. The English and Norwegian variants of the same version (generation) were OK.
With OOo version 3.3.0, I get the option of printing all sheets, selected sheets, or selected cells. I tested, and it works like it should.
For my currently installed version, to see the print range options:
- With OS-X print dialogs you need to select the "OpenOffice.org" (top level) category of print options (combo box in the middle of the dialog).
- If you have Calc set up to use the internal OOo dialogs, select the General category (button row along the upper edge of the dialog).
