Is it possible to create my own special characters?How it can be done?

Could you be a bit more specific on what you mean by "your own special characters"?

If you wish to invent brand new characters which do not exist in any alphabet you need at least Phontographer or some other very professional program to create the glyphs and everything.
If you were referring to special characters in use in youre native language and not in use in other languages that is another question and a different (and much easier) task which may be solved by either changing the codepage (temporarily) or using macros to insert chars not apparently in the keyboard etc.

Actually I need special images between text for use in spreadsheet.(for example-shield,different stars,crosses etc)

Then most likely you need a font which contains such special characters (similarly to Webding and Wingding and the like).
Because these are really special ones they will probably not be present in any usual font set. Then you will have to switch the font of the cell to this special set (if no other chars will be in the same cell) or select the desired chars among the many and switch only those to this special font.
You have to google for them if you do not yet possess them.
Webding and Wingding are useful for a short practice in the meantime, if you need it.

Thank you,will make a try.But actually images I need are very specific,used in numismatics.
