|
|
Hi,
I have a client who sends me documents to convert to pdf, in Word2000 format.
They number their pages with footers, and apart from this, there is nothing I can see that might cause a significant variation in pagination in Writer.
The latest problem sees their 15-page document stretched over 17 pages in Writer.
Is there some issue that I should be addressing when opening the document in Writer? I'm in OO V 1.1.2
Cheers,
Michael |

Check settings such as interline spacing, for one thing, in case they don't translate; and there might be a difference in the way Writer and M$ Word handle the arithmetic when a style with "space after" is followed by a style with "space before". _________________ Niels Grundtvig Nielsen
