When I insert a new equation (math object) in Writer I have problems with the tilde. For example a equation like "tilde H(q,tilde H)" has a huge space between the tilde and the "H". I tried with the Format/Spacing options but there is no option for the "Attributes", that means tildes, hats and so on. How can I reduce the space? It doesn't look very good. Thanks.

This problem has been discussed before, see http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=153 and http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1427 for solutions.

I don't know which version you're using, but I know that the problem has been fixed in 1.1beta and 1.1beta2.

Thanks for the tip. I installed 1.0.3.1, and with the beta 1.1 is working fine.
