Thanks for the replies, but as far as viewing both docs at the same time, allowing me the freedom to work with them both independently from each other - its not happening. Someone in one of the posts mentioned right clicking on the task bar to tile - doesn't work. Im running Win98Se.

Hi sensitivepressure,
You stated that you had a problem showing multi-documents at once in a TILE fashion to be able to view and work on them all at once.
JohnV is correct. This WINDOWS feature is built-in and should work with no trouble at all. I went in to test for any malfunctions and I had no problem in doing the following with OPEN OFFICE or any other document/application:
TO SHOW MULTI-WINDOWS VIEW
-Open ALL documents you want to TILE and see/work on at once (ALL documents and all else opened will be TILED-including the Internet). Close what you don't want added.
-Place Cursor on TASKBAR (same level as START, Your CLOCK and STARTUP MENU)
-RIGHT CLICK to pull up menu
-Your Choice is the following:
CASCADE WINDOWS
TILE WINDOWS HORIZONTALLY
TILE WINDOWS VERTICALLY
SHOW THE DESKTOP
-Make Your Choice.
-The open documents appear in your TILE or CASCADE View choice.
-Click in the document(s) you want in order to make your changes.
TO RETURN TO ONE DOCUMENT VIEW
-Place Cursor on TASKBAR (same level as START, Your CLOCK and STARTUP MENU).
-RIGHT CLICK to pull up menu.
-Your Choice is the following:
CASCADE WINDOWS
TILE WINDOWS HORIZONTALLY
TILE WINDOWS VERTICALLY
SHOW THE DESKTOP
UNDO TILE
-Click UNDO TILE
-The window returns to its original state.
I hope that this solves your problem. Please feel free to post back to let us know how you are doing with the feature.
