file umask

I have a problem with OpenOffice 1.0.3 and my linuxbox:
when i save a file the umask is set to 022 but my umask (in /etc/profile and in /home/myhome/.bash_profile) is set to 002.
I have this problem only using OO because other program (abiword koffice etc..) don't have the same problem.
