MySQL to Writter on Windows

I found a tutorial on the OOo site about conecting MySQL with OpenOffice. The site was focused on the Linux platform. I did the tutorial and worked. However, I wonder is there a windows version.

hey thanks for the tutorial, now I have a doubt, I succesfully create a database with those tables. However I didnt have any data in the tables, I planned to use OOo however I couldnt get the data into it. I just can add new things to the database like columns, but no data input interface.

Is this true? Is datasource Read-only in OOo?
