I am using open office 1.1 with gnu linux mandrake 9.2, gnome 2.4
When I try to use the document converter autopilot from the file menu, absoloutely nothing happens. Similarly for Euro converter. However I am able to activate the autopilot for agenda, or letter as examples.
Can anyone suggest a reason and cure for this fault? Thanks.

Some of OOo's feature requires Java but I'm not sure if the converter also needed Java. Do you have Java installed?
