I am facing a problem with MS Word documents having form fields in the document. I am able to open the document in OpenOffice Writer and could save the document in MS Word format. When I open the document that contains form fields and is saved in OpenOffice Writer in MS Word Format, I noticed that form fileds are missing. Please suggest what to do to retain form fileds even if I save the document in OpenOffice Writer.

| The mechanism of creating forms under Writer is completely different from the mechanism in Word. In other words, the Word forms are not known by Writer. Hence the message is: if you need to create forms, you need to stick to only one of these word processors. |
