| OOo seems to have copied one of the worst "features" of MS Word -- automatic paragraph numbering. I want to be able to decide when to start a graf with a number, not have it done for me! So far the only way I know to get rid of this is to turn off AutoFormat, but then I lose auto-correction, which I like. I bet there's a way, but the "help" file is no help in this case. |

When you go to Auto Format/Correct try the Options tab and disable Apply Numbering. Might want to get the one below it too so you don't have to ask about the damn line that OO inserted that you can't seem to get rid of.  |
