Is there a way to globally add a heading to each page? I've got some large doc's that don't have any heading tags in them.

Try Format>Page>Header, and see if that helps.

Actually, it DOES add it globally. I just tried on a 220 page document that had no headers. I opened the document, inserted a header, and voilą! It was present on all pages, not simply the one I inserted it on.

Hi maxqnz,
I assumed corbymorris had the First Page style (or another) applied to his/her 1st page, which could explain the behaviour.

Ah, thanks for that. I knew that you were right to recommend using Page Styles, but I was also fairly sure I hadn't sold a pup.
