Hey. Does anyone know how I can start my document with whole pages of text and then at say page 10 change the style to be newspaper-esque so that the text is in two columns. Format > Page > Columns does the entire document.

| Highlight the text you want to put into columsn and use Format->Columns. Make sure Apply to is set to Selection. |

It's all to do with page styles. Styles are important in any WP but done very well in OOo. You create one style for each page layout you want, and check on the follow-on style that will be used for subsequent pages.
It's easy, really. |
