This thing is very unstable for a product about to be released.
I've crashed it about a dozen times a day.
Making forms, making tables, making queries, connecting to external data sources.
I'm just a user who needs a product to get a lot of work done.
This is not yet ready, and I'm afraid I will have to stick with Access.

| I presume you are using the Base component of OOo 2.0 Beta? As it is still beta, do prepare to have crashes and other shortcomings. |

So haw many times should we send in the crash reports? Once for each different crash? Sometimes it seems to be the same crash but something slightly different triggers it.
I gave up last night after half a dozen crashes trying to get a simple table join to work. |

I've taken to sending every one.
I want this to work really well, and not getting feedback might keep the developers blind to the instability problems.
A good standalone database - that is STABLE and EASY TO USE - will increase the marketability of this product immensely. The database front-end features are really cool.
I've linked mine to an Access97 database with 900+ contacts and 2000+ records of various testing and interview data from about 1300+ persons. I have to merge this data into reports, which are then edited into printable .pdf-able docs about 8 to 10 pages each. I do this three or four times daily - 5 or more days a week. - Access has saved me a lot of typing.
OOo is a great product but it really needs a stable database -

I'm using OOo 2.0 on Windows XP, and it haven't crashed on me since 1.9m74.
Kind regards,
