Hi people, when I tried to install OpenOffice 1.1.2 from a specially ordered cd of it, I get an error message that says, "The SUT645MI.DLL file is linked to missing export OLEAUT32.DLL:189." Can anyone possibly tell me what in te world this means and how to get it to install? Thank you so much.

Maybe your OLEAUT32.DLL is out of date. Which version of Windows are you using?
Also please note there is an OpenOffice.org version 1.1.4. |

Hi, I downloaded the updated version of this file, but Windows won't let me replace it because it is 'in use'. What do I do now? Thanks for all your help!

You should use a Microsoft installer rather than manually copying the DLL.
Try the DCOM98. After DCOM98 is finished installing, you may need to reboot. |
