|
|
Goal: to copy/paste text and embedded images from a web page, e.g.
http://mepis.com/docs/installing-mepis/
and THEN to use Edit/Link/Break Link so that the images are embedded in the doc and not linked to the web page.
Problem: the selected text+images copy and display without a problem. However, "break lilnk" causes the images to disappear from the doc, and only a placeholder (outline) with the anchor icon remains.
I've replicated this problem with both IE6 and Firefox 1.0.3 (under Windows XP).
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or solutions. |

JohnV, Thanks for your help. I'm not sure I want to tackle a beta version, but it is good to know the problem was fixed. (Is there a tentative release date for 2.0.0??)
