Version 1.10 vs version 1.1.4 Should I download?

I purchased a computer with OO version 1.1.0 installed. I would like to download and install version 1.1.4 but I use dial-up to connect to the internet and I figure it would take about 10 hours to download the 144 mg of version 1.1.4. So I am wondering if it is worth the time? I need your opinions please! Also, if I download version 1.1.4, do I need to uninstall version 1.10 first? Thanks in advance for your advice.

There are many bug fixes between the two versions, and a great improve in the stability. 1.1.0 used to crash very often, but I haven't got a single crash with 1.1.4
Maybe you can find the last version in a computer magazine, or ask to a friend with broadband to download it (maybe an internet point convined with a usb key?)

Yes, it probably is worth it. I would endorse RGB's comments. You can also get it on CD from a Community Distributor (such as www.8daysaweek.co.uk Wink

).

You don't need to uninstall 1.1.0 first, but it is probably less confusing if you do.

For me OO 1.1.4 seems to crash several times a day in different situations. wmf import, selecting a drawing tool, while using anothre program. I'm thinking of goping back to SO 5.2
