Playing with options, I tried dragging a CSV file onto the Open Office Icon. It does work. However, I get not the one, but two instances of the program; the one I want, and a new file instance on top of that. I would possibly have expected them both to occur in the one open instance, but not two separate ones. I have to then close the new file instance before working on the one I want. I hope I've made this clear, rather than muddy with all this chatter.

Is this with 1.9.x? I know that up to 1.9.65 you could not open OOo 2.0 correctly from an associated file. I hope it's not something like that again. _________________ Arch Linux

No. I'm using an older version only for rerence. I didn't want to update since I'm seeing so many bugs, and already have hands-on to two othre suites. I'll let it pass if there is no problems elsewhere, and will update a bit later.
Thanks.
