Ouch! Perhaps we'll see Mandrake donation stands at shopping malls this year instead of the Salvation Army! 
Joking aside, I'm not a mandrake user but I feel bad nevertheless. I know quite a few people who love their mandrake linux and it would be unfortunate to see this company go under. |

| I doubt they'll go under. More likely, they will get acquired or sell their linux distribution to another company. There's enough mandrake users out there that someone should be interested in taking over their product line. |

| Slackware and Debian have proven that you don't need a lot of money to develop a good linux distribution. Money certainly helps but it is not a requirement. |
