Hi all,
I am a newbie to Oo Base. Just now i have installed the version 2.0. Now I want to create a new database. When i click the link 'Tables', it says "The connection to the datasource "New Database 1" couldnot be established. Java/sql/Savepoint"
Am i doing anything wrong?

| I have got something similar, with built in HSQL database after long time of inactivity (probably Java discards some “unused” resources). Try to open base again, or create new one. |

| I get the same problem, I create a database, and then try to edit fields with the table editor and then I am told that the connection has been lost. I get the same problem in the Windows version and the Novell/Suse bundled version. |

I don't know if this is yours problem, but it's my experience that you have to be careful with fieldnames - if you use any other charakters than a-z og 0-9 it might be problems. Same if you use reseved words as field- or tablename. You can't use space in any namnes either.
In this cases you will see your table and fields, but you can't edit them. |
