|
|
| I have OO2 (SRC680_m96) and use it to open a long .sxw file. Most of the time it crashs after displaying for sometime. If I have to copy and paste from there, I can copy it but I cannot paste it (to another document). Anyone know if OO is fixing this problem? |

Does not work! I have to install the OpenOffice 1.x.y to open that .sxw file.
Hope OO would work on the compability issue. |

Put it in IZ along with the file. It's probably something about the contents of the file. I've had no problem with SXW in OOo 2.0 before. _________________ Arch Linux

The document is internal to my company, so I am not allowed to send it to party outside the company.
Having said that, I will prepare for a 'mock' one and test it out.
Well the .sxw document is about 120 pages. Using OO 2 beta, somehow the document becomes about 160 pages long. I think OO2 has a different method of interpreating the format. |

I don't think so, have you tried with other sxw files and still crashes?
Have you tested the to see if there are just custom styles.
Is this an original OOo file or was it a convertion of MS Word. You can track the file by looking at the meta-tag. _________________ Alexandro Colorado
