We are in the process of migrating some access databases to OOBase and have run into some problems. We are running OO 1.9.104 on Windows XP.
Reports:
We are able to create reports using the wizard but we need to have differnet layouts from what is offered during the report creation. I have tried to edit the reports but I am unable to create the reports that we need. I want to fomrat the report simlar to the following
Title Dr
First Name John
Last Name Smith
Country UK
DOB 01/01/1789
........ .........
<snip>
I would like this report to be repeated for about 300 records. The current reports that I am being offered format the report across the page rather than down the page and this is no use for us. Is there any documentation that details how to do this or are there any kind souls on here that can point me in the right direction.

It does not directly cover adding your field names as part of the text but it can be done easily as part of the first method discussed (just type them in the right side box) or as part of the more complex second method (same as above or add them before you copy & paste). |
