It seems to me that OOo is Java based...
Why is there a Mac Specific version for OOo??
I don't care about the Eye Candy.. I just want the Same OOo I have been using on my linux and window machines..
Is there a way to run a Java only version of OOo on Mac?
(Java-ish icons and everything)
I have downloaded and am trying Neo Office but I don't care about the pretty..
any comments? |

OOo's core is mostly written in C++. Components can be written in a variety of languages. Some OOo components are written in Java, such as the user customizable XSLT filters. I am led to believe that a lot of Base is dependant on Java, but I don't know much about Base. _________________ Want to make OOo Drawings like the colored flower design to the left? |
