Sad Autodesk's Inventor occasionally draws upon excel to further enhance its abilities. The problem with this is Inventor only wants excel. It wants spreadsheets to be done in xls format. Eventhough OO Spreadsheet can do this, this for some reason, is not enough.

Is there some way (add-in?) to fool programs like Inventor to think OO Spreadsheet is actually Excel?

Thanks.

If it's an addon specific to MS Office you cannot use it in OOo, that's a normal behavior.
