Hi
In my network on some computers openoffice 1.1 doesn't open . In fact if i open soffice it starts but if i want to create a new file or to open one it crashes. When I open a file from hdd it shows that he is loaded but that's it , i can't vizualize the file . This is hapenning only on some users ,with the administrator account it works and if i make a new account for that user it also works. I reinstalled it over and over again , i installed oo 1.4 but i have the same problem.
Is it posibil that the problem appeared from a corrupted file, which the users have opened before, or the domain could be the problem.
Can you make this problem with a macro or something like this?
All stations runs on Windows 2000 prof.
Thanks! |

Have you performed a Server install and a Workstation install? The Workstation installation (or a Local Installation) needs to be run for each user profile on each machine otherwise OOo does not work properly for logons who are not administrators (on WinXP anyway).
Have a look at the Setup guide http://documentation.openoffice.org/setup_guide2/1.1.x/en/SETUP_GUIDE.pdf _________________ Dale
