| Until recently, hyperlinks in PDF exported from Writer were functional. Now they don't seem to work. Is this because of an incompatibility with an updated Adobe Acrobat? Is there a way to get this functionality working again? |

The pdf export in the 1.1.x line never saved the hyperlinks (as far as I know...) The only way is installing the extended pdf macro:

Are you using the OOo 2 beta? |

Thanks! I'll get the macro.
As to 1.1.x, even now the hyperlinks occasionally get saved. I just can't tell when it will happen correctly and when it won't.
Do you recommend the beta? I don't need perfection but I wouldn't want to have serious problems with it. |

For normal work? Not at all...
Is important that people test it so the developers can correct the errors reported by the users, but for production, only the stable release. I asked you because I read that the beta could export to pdf also the links |

Thanks.
I really would like to help test it... a way to express appreciation... but my time is so full right now that I don't think I could manage it. |
