Hi all,
I'm working on a presentation in OO on a XP machine but when I open it on my Ubuntu box, all content from the slides has disapeared.

No background, no pictures, just an index of the two slides and nothing else...

It works when I 'save as' .ppt or sxi. Any clue how to fix this or if this is a bug?

On Ubuntu linux OO Impress 1.9.79.2
On XP 1.9.118 (or close to that..)

OOo 2.0 Beta version 1.9.79 is very old and error prone. I think that it is impossible to solve your problem with that OOo 2.0 Beta version. Try to upgrade to a version similar to your XP version of 1.9.118.

With kind regards

Very Happy
updated my version to 118 and all works fine.
Thanks for the quick reply!

For fellow newbies: here's how to update to OO 2 beta for Ubuntu:
