|
|
I have noticed something about 1.1RC3 which is a little annoying. When I hit the numbering and bullet icons, the space is now between the number/bullet and the left page margin, rather than the text that follows.
It would seem that the default alignment for numbers/bullets has been changed from "left" to "centred". It is, of course, relatively easy to change but I would prefer not to have to do it in every time I want to use the function.
Anyone any idea how I can fix this?
TIA

Hi Ian,
I'm not seeing this behavior in RC3 under Win 98. I create paragraphs, select them and click either icon and my numbers/bullets are left aligned with space after them and before the text.
Assuming you don't have your own Master Document template you mght try it there to see if it's something you have stored in your default template. |

Hi John
You are right. It happens with most of my templates (with one notable exception).
However restoring the default template via templates\organise cured the problem (so far as a new blank document is concerned). Something somewhere has changed.
If I simply put the cursor anywhere on the page, right click and select numbers and bullets, the alignment is shown as "left". However, when I hit the number/bullets icons this has changed to "centred". Weird! |

BTW
I have noted exactly the same behaviour with the Linux version too. |
