| I have installed OpenOffice 1.9.122 beta and it worked fine (apart from a few crashes, but it is a beta) and I have lost the ability to select using the mouse. I can select using the cursor keys with "shift", but I can't click and drag with the mouse. Have I selected a stupid option or is this a bug? |

Hmm sounds like an OS problem. Not something I've come across. What OS are you using. _________________ OpenOffice.org Marketing Contact, New Zealand.

| I'm using Windows XP Tablet Edition. It's on a Toshiba Tecra M4 laptop that has 3 pointing devices - a touch pad, a tablet screen and a blue joystick thing in the keyboard. I suspect that is the problem. No type of dragging works - I can't drag images around or resize them using the mouse either. |

Sorry I can't help, that's one OS I'm completely unfamiliar with.
Cheers
