|
|
| Does anybody know, how to place text into a text frame vertically into the middle? I can of course do it in a table, but I cannot achieve precise vertical placement in a text frame... Thanx in advance for your replies. Honza |

The same way as in the main document: Format/Alignment/Center. Or, the paragraph alignment icon in the Object toolbar.

That doesn't work for vertical alignment of text within the frame, only for paragraph centre alignment.
If one selects the frame, one can centre the frame vertically on the page, but that is not what was asked. |

As you say. It can be done as closely as possible by preceding with line feeds, but there is no format procedure I know of, as there is in, say, WordPerfect.

| Thank you all for your time. As I can see, I'ill just have to redo my labels to a table instead of a set of frames. Never mind, maybe it is going to come in the future... Honza |

Labels? Why not try Lazalabel freeware I've mentioned at times?
